Jim Boyle is the latest broadcasting/entertainment/media analyst to be sent packing in a Wall Street cost-cutting move. CL King & Associates has told the veteran analyst that his services are no longer needed. Prior to CL King Boyle had a long run at Wachovia Securities.
RBR/TVBR observation: We’re certainly getting tired of writing these stories. At some point in the future we hope Wall Street will again become interested in radio and television companies. But that’s not likely to happen until the stock prices recover – a lot. In the meantime, we hope to hear from Jim when he finds some endeavor related to broadcasting.
