Bravo gets “Swingtown”

Bravo has acquired the exclusive cable rights for the original 13 episode run of the drama series "Swingtown," from CBS Television Distribution. The announcement was made today by Frances Berwick, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Bravo Media.  The cable network premiere of the series is scheduled for later this fall.


"Swingtown" marks Bravo’s newest scripted acquisition joining series runs of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and "The West Wing."

During its run on CBS (6/5/08-9/5/08), "Swingtown" averaged 2.069 million adults18-49 and 4.934 million total viewers. The series premiere of "Swingtown" on 6/5/08 delivered 3.618 million adults 18-49 and was the best broadcast summer premiere for a scripted series on network television since 2006.
