Freedom Communications has, indeed, filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the federal bankruptcy code. The TV and newspaper group owner says its operations will continue normally as the company goes through the bankruptcy process. Freedom’s lenders will end up owning most of the company under the planned reorganization.
