Broadcast Radio’s Big Two Spot Spenders

Take a look at the latest Media Monitors Spot Ten Radio report, and it’s obvious that there are two big supporters of broadcast radio when it comes to their advertising plans. One is a venerable auto insurance specialist. Another is perhaps the year’s biggest broadcast media client.


That would be The Home Depot, which tops the latest report thanks to some 57,900 spot plays as detected by iHeart-owned Media Monitors.

At No. 2 is State Farm, with 53,300 spots.

The activity for the week ending Dec. 8 also includes key movement upward for McDonald’s, a leader once again in the QSR arena.
