Broadcasters had a good day, but stock prices otherwise were little changed Monday, as investors awaited quarterly reports from numerous companies and kept a wary eye on Europe. The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 12 points, or 0.1%, to 12,709. The Nasdaq Composite also fell a bit, but the S&P 500 was up for the day. Broadcasting stocks, however, were mostly higher – with Spanish broadcasters leading the advance as News Corporation announced plans for its own US Hispanic TV venture.

The RBR Radio Index was up 7.941, or 2.2%, to 363.501.

The TVBR Television Index was up 3.381, or 1.4%, to 250.046.
