Wall Street didn’t like a quarterly report from Johnson & Johnson, which showed sales down, even though cost-cutting kept profits up. The Dow Industrials fell 15 points, or 0.2%, to 9,871 and the S&P 500 was also down. But the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite rose a bit. Media stocks also bucked the down trend, so both radio and TV stocks had an up day.
The RBR Radio Index rose 5.239, or 3.5%, to 156.857.
The TVBR Television Index rose 6.046, or 5.1%, to 125.333.
