Broadcasters Embrace Social Media

LinkedInMost C-level executives are active on social media to some extent.


Whiteoaks research finds some 98% are on LinkedIn, up from 90% last year, reports Advanced Television.

“Our research is building a compelling case that broadcasters must change their attitudes to social media. While broadcasters know how important social media is to the creation of new revenue streams and to connecting with audiences in an age of multi-screen and interactive entertainment, they must start addressing it as a tool for engagement and lead generation,” according to Whiteoaks CEO James Kelliher.
