The Broadcasters Foundation of America, the non-profit organization with a mission to improve the quality of life and maintain the personal dignity of men and women in broadcast media who find themselves in acute need, has elected three industry standouts to its Board of Directors.

Joining the Foundation Board are NAB Senior Advisor John David, the former EVP of NAB Radio; vCreative co-founder and CEO Jinny Laderer, and Deborah Roberts, the ABC News Correspondent seen on 20/20, Nightline, Good Morning America and ABC World News Tonight with David Muir.

The new directors were voted in June 19 during the Foundation’s Board of Directors meeting in New York.

“John, Jinny, and Deborah are industry leaders who have exemplified the Foundation’s philosophy of ‘giving back’ through their tireless efforts to advance broadcasting and to support our charitable mission of helping colleagues in need,” said Broadcasters Foundation Chairman Dan Mason.

For more than 70 years, the Broadcasters Foundation has distributed millions of dollars to thousands of broadcasters and their families in need.
