Broadcasters Foundation names new board members


BFoA / Broadcasters Foundation of AmericaThe Broadcasters Foundation of America has named four new members and a new officer to its Board of Directors.  The new members were voted in during the recent Board meeting, held in New York City.

They include:

·        Brian Cobb, President, CobbCorp

·        Bill Hoffman, President, Cox Media Group

·        Brian Lawlor, Senior Vice President, Television, E.W. Scripps TV Station Group

·        Dan Mason, President and Chief Executive Officer, CBS Radio

In addition, the new officer is:

·        Leo MacCourtney, President and Chief Executive Officer, Katz Television Group

“I am proud to welcome these highly accomplished broadcasters and industry leaders to our Board,” said Broadcasters Foundation Chairman Phil Lombardo, Chairman.  “Their example of giving back to our industry by serving as a Board member or officer is inspiring.  I hope it will motivate others who work in broadcasting to identify ways they can help advance our cause of delivering financial relief to our colleagues who are struggling under the harshest of circumstances.”
