The Wall Street headline writers said that trading was flat but at a lofty level. For the most part broadcast stocks were a bit less lofty by the time the day came to a close than they were when it started.
The RBR Radio Index fell 3.903, or 0.6%, to 700.649.
The TVBR Television Index fell 4.081, or 0.5%, to 827.176.
