The FCC’s decision to give its endorsement of Nexstar‘s merger with Media General, and a waiver allowing for the two companies to complete their deal prior to the end of the FCC’s incentive auction, may be thanks to one noted media broker.
Thanks to this veteran buyer and seller of radio and TV stations, the Commission got full clarity on Nexstar’s requests for continuing “satellite exemptions” and for its “failing stations” waivers.
