Foreman-Assoc_Lotus Communications and Buckley Broadcasting announced 3/10 that Lotus is buying Rhythmic Top 40 KSEQ-FM Fresno from Buckley. The station is 17-kW @ 778-ft. HAAT. Lotus also owns Regional Mexican (La Buena) KLBN-FM, Classic Rock KKBZ-FM, Spanish AC KHIT-FM and ESPN Deportes KGST-AM in that market.

Said Buckley CEO Joe Bilotta: “Our ability to compete in the highly consolidated Fresno market with a free-standing FM was a significant reason to entertain and eventually sell KSEQ to Lotus. With this acquisition, Lotus will be even more of an impact player in the Fresno market and they are very excited to have the Buckley station as part of their growing cluster and company.”

Dick Foreman of Richard A. Foreman Associates Inc., represented Buckley in the deal. Kalil & Co. represented Lotus.
