The individual who has served as VP/GM of Nexstar Broadcasting‘s CBS affiliate WIVB-4 and co-owned CW affiliate WNLO-23 in Buffalo is leaving Western New York.

If he wears a Bills jersey to a Colts home game in his new city of residence, we wish him luck.

That’s because Dominic Mancuso will now serve as VP/GM for Nexstar’s newly acquired Indianapolis duo of CBS affiliate WTTV-4 and WXIN-59, the market’s FOX affiliate.

It’s a promotion that results from the closing of Nexstar’s acquisition of Tribune Media, as the stations were previously owned by that entity.

Mancuso had been in Western New York since February 2017. In 2018, he helped bring a 6:30pm local newscast to WNLO.

“I am excited to be returning to Indiana and to be leading such vital and vibrant broadcast, digital, and mobile operations as those of WTTV-TV and WXIN-TV,” said Mancuso, who holds a marketing degree from Notre Dame University. “These are strong stations with talented and experienced staffs and a legacy of service to the local community. I am grateful to Nexstar for giving me this opportunity and I am looking forward to building on the strong foundation established in Indianapolis over the last several years.”

Mancuso’s resume includes a stint as VP/GM of WOIO-TV & WUAB-TV in Cleveland under Raycom Media; as GM of Sinclair Broadcast Group’s three Nashville TV properties; and (from 2006-2009) served as VP/Programming and Promotion at WFLD-TV in Chicago.

From 1994-2005, Mancuso was at WGN in Chicago, working his way up from LSM to Station Manager.
