Stock prices moved up strongly on Thursday as the Labor Department reported a drop in first time unemployment claims and more major companies reported good Q1 results. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 122 points, or 1.1%, to 11,167. Broadcast stocks also moved higher.
The RBR Radio Index was up 7.782, or 2%, to 398.880.
The TVBR Television Index was up 1.067, or 0.5%, to 221.406.
