LOS ANGELES — The Allen Media Group (AMG) digital platform Local Now, a free-streaming service for local news and entertainment, is firing up a new offering dedicated to a comedian and actor known for roles on CBS’s “The Ghost Whisperer” and his portrayal as Randy Meeks in the original “Scream” films of the 1990s.

Introducing the “Jamie Kennedy Channel,” with content including “Jamie Kennedy Experiment: Behind the Scenes,” and a collection of films Kennedy has appeared in.

Stand-up specials including “Stoopid Smart” are also on the channel.

Byron Allen, Founder/Chairman/CEO of Allen Media Group, commented, “Jamie has put hours of very funny, exclusive content on his channel, and comedy fans will thoroughly enjoy Jamie’s incredible talent on LOCAL NOW.”

Kennedy said, “Working with Byron Allen’s global media company is incredible. As a comedian, Byron gets all my ideas, and as a businessman, he knows exactly how to sell them. It’s a rare combo that only he can deliver.
