WASHINGTON, D.C. — House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Frank Pallone Jr. (D-N.J.) and Communications and Technology Subcommittee Chairman Mike Doyle (D-Pa.) have set Oct. 29 as the date the influential Communications and Technology Subcommittee will hold a hearing on “Repurposing the C-Band to Benefit all Americans.”

The hearing will begin at 10am.

“The FCC must repurpose the C-Band in a manner that promotes competition, spurs the 5G revolution, and yields revenue for important priorities here at home.  There may be a need for legislation to reduce uncertainty and benefit Americans,” said Pallone and Doyle.  “What we don’t want is the Federal Communications Commission to become mired in litigation that slows 5G deployment.  We must ensure the American people benefit from this process, and we look forward to discussing these important issues at the hearing next week.”

Information for this hearing, including the Committee Memorandum, witness list and testimony, and a live webcast, will be posted HERE as they become available.
