WASHINGTON, D.C. — The ranking Republican on the powerful House Energy and Commerce Committee, former radio station owner Greg Walden (R-Ore.), is expressing concerns that Democrats now in charge of the committee are not willing to engage in bipartisan action on rural broadband connectivity improvements.
Perhaps Walden’s concerns are valid, given a Tweet slamming “the Trump FCC” made by one Democrat on the Committee. Could this lack of willingness to work together thwart the 2018 Quadrennial Review of FCC Ownership Rules?
