Plentyoffish Media Inc. is going to have to pay up. It was hit with a fine by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) for sending unsolicited emails to consumers. Sending the emails wasn’t the problem – a feature missing from the emails was.
The violations pertain to emails sent last year from 7/1/14 through 10/8/14.
