Executive Vice President Martin Cass has been named President of the US operation, replacing Scott Sorkin.  Cass, who has 20 years of experience in the media and marketing communications industry, had been running Carat’s P&G business globally.  In addition, Cass was serving as Head of Communications Planning for Carat in the US.

Aegis Media North America CEO Sarah Fay said: “As a leader at our organization, who has served in a variety of roles, Martin has an in-depth knowledge of our culture and clients.  Martin has been incredibly successful at our organization, and has built a talented team and a growing relationship with P&G.  He is a strategic thinker with a strong background working with world class clients including:  P&G, American Express, Smirnoff, Guinness, Disney and Cadbury.   I know he will take Carat to its next phase of growth and look forward to partnering with him on those efforts.”

She added: “Scott Sorokin and I have mutually agreed that he will leave his post at Carat.  Scott is an incredibly bright and visionary leader and was instrumental in creating the new Carat model of delivering integrated communications strategies to our clients which has strengthened many of our key relationships.”
Sorokin joined as President of Carat Fusion in 2006 and became President of Carat when the agency merged with Carat USA.
