Carson Daly, morning drive host on CBS Radio’s 97.1 AMP Radio (6:00-10:00 AM, PT), has signed a multi-year contract extension with the station, it was announced by Kevin Weatherly, SVP/Programming, CBS Radio and PD for 97.1 AMP Radio. AMP Radio has been home to Daly’s morning program since January 2010.
During his tenure with the station (KAMP-FM), Daly has grown the morning show from eighth place overall to a solid third place position in the market with his target audience, adults 18-34. AMP is the second most listened to station in Los Angeles during his four hour program.
Daly’s morning show focuses on the latest music, celebrity and entertainment news, and features the Daly Download, highlighting the top five most downloaded songs in SoCal.
