Chuck Poduska will officially start his retirement as VP/GM of Meredith Local Media's Kansas City duopoly on March 31. We now know who is succeeding him at the stations.

TEGNA's Senior Director of Corporate Development has been promoted to Head of Investor Relations. At the same time, there's a new VP/Treasurer in place at TEGNA.

With talk of bids from Apollo Global Management, Byron Allen's group and even Trinity Broadcasting Network making headlines of late and Soohyung Kim's Standard General putting pressure on TEGNA for representation on its Board of Directors, John Janedis is exiting the company formerly known as Gannett. Janedis is returning to Wall Street to take a seat Marci Ryvicker once held.

The EVP/CFO of Univision Communications until his March 2018 departure has just accepted John Abbot's old job. He had been at Univision for nearly three years, following a 22-year run at Goldman Sachs, where he was a managing director.

The Shadow League has developed an online audience as an online hub dedicated to presenting "journalistically sound sports coverage through the lens of culture." The individual who presently serves as its EVP, who has experience at African American-centric cable TV network BET, has just joined the partnership in New York that is now the licensee of "Hot 97" and WBLS.

In February 2005, a partner at a D.C. law firm departed after 18 years to take the top governmental and regulatory affairs post at one of the nation's biggest media companies targeting Hispanic consumers. He's still at Univision Communications, and based in Southern California. And, he's just added an additional role to his resume, thanks to the NAB.

The Corporate Controller at Bonneville International and the Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller at Sinclair Broadcast Group have been named Chairs for Media Finance Focus 2020. The event is scheduled for late May at the famed Hollywood & Highland complex in Los Angeles.

When Steve Chase shifted to a role at TEGNA-owned NBC affiliate KUSA-9 in Denver, it opened up a slot back in the Twin Cities, where he held a top sales role at the company's NBC affiliate in that market. TEGNA has now filled that post.

Entravision Communications Corp. has named its new SVP and, additionally, has selected its new VP of Integrated Marketing Solutions for its media properties in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. Taking the roles are two women.

In his new role, Ed Wilson will "leverage each businesses’ leadership position in the media industry to drive continued innovation and pursue sustainable growth strategies," Cox Media Group says.

In February 2009, Ben Saurer shifted from one Fort Wayne cluster to another as GSM. He's now been promoted to VP/GM of the station group.

A veteran radio host who also has experience as a record label producer has joined Broadcast Pix as Product Manager. He is based in Lakeland, Fla., and will lead the business and product development of new RadioPix visual radio systems.

For the past nine years, she's been GSM of a cluster of stations in Charlotte owned today by Beasley Media Group. As of today, she is now GSM of the Atlanta radio stations owned by Cox Media Group.

He's served in senior leadership roles at Puerto Rico's TeleOnce and WAPA-4 in San Juan. Most recently, he's operated a consultancy providing services to a variety of media, sports and entertainment clients across the U.S. territory, including the Puerto Rican Olympic Committee. Now, he's been tapped to lead Univision Communications' radio and TV properties in the Caribbean.

In her new role, a Univision Communications veteran will be responsible for managing NAB’s partnerships with third-party groups on legislative and regulatory issues affecting local broadcasters. She will report to Executive Vice President of Government Relations Shawn Donilon.
