Translator Twins Bring Two Brands To FM In Amarillo

On Monday, RBR + TVBR's TRANSACTIONS TODAY reported the sales of KBZD-FM 99.7 in Amarillo, Tex., and KQFX-FM 104.3 in Borger, Texas by Tejas Broadcasting. We now know there's a Part Three to the story, as Tejas has found a very economical way to keep KQFX's programming on the FM band. It's also lassoed an FM home for ESPN Radio in the Lone Star market.

Dollars Revealed In Univision’s ABQ Exit Deals

Meanwhile, Houston Christian Broadcasters is celebrating 55 years "of keeping him close by." Lazer Lights Up Reno With Times-Shamrock Trio Buy

Just two weeks after Times-Shamrock Communications agreed to sell Class C Active Rocker KRZQ-FM 104.1, licensed to Fallon, Nev., and its Reno-based booster to the John Burkavage-led Big Horn Media, a second sale has been finalized by Times-Shamrock. In this deal, three Reno-market stations are being transferred to the Alfredo Plascencia-led Lazer Broadcasting.
