Cattlemen Make the Case for Local Broadcast

TowerThe business of raising cattle is conducted primarily in rural areas and the residents of these areas are particularly dependent on local broadcast. And the US Cattleman’s Association is asking Congress to protect it – and fix a long-term wrong on the television side.


The wrong? DirecTV’s failure to deliver on its 2003 promise to provide local-into-local service in 10 markets.
