Stocks closed narrowly mixed as many traders apparently decided to lay low ahead of next Tuesday’s elections. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 12 points, or 0.1%, to 11,114, but the Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 were up a bit. Broadcasting stocks were lower.
The RBR Radio Index was down 5.355, or 2%, to 265.906.
The TVBR Television Index was down 2.783, or 1.4%, to 192.604.
