Despite being preempted in about 5% of the country by the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon, CBS says the inaugural “CBS ELITEXC Saturday Night Fights” posted big gains for the network in key young adult and young male demos. The 9-11 pm portion, watched by 4.3 million people, was #1 in Adults 25-54, Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Men 25-54, Men 18-49 and Men 18-34 in the preliminary ratings from Nielsen, CBS said. And the network noted that the biggest audience numbers were outside of primetime, with the biggest mixed martial arts match of the night beginning at 11:30 pm ET.
“CBS ELITEXC Saturday Night Fights” posted its highest ratings in Oklahoma City (KTWV), Nashville (WTVF), New Orleans (WWL), Memphis (WREG) and Greenville-Spartanburg-Ashville (WSPA).
