CBS claims 6 of top 10 programs; NCIS #4

CBS broadcast six of the top 10 programs—more than all of the other networks combined according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending June 6, week 37 of the 2009-2010 television year.


 CBS programs in the top 10 included NCIS (#4), 60 MINUTES (#5), TWO AND A HALF MEN SPECIAL (#7), THE BIG BANG THEORY SPECIAL (#8), THE MENTALIST (#9) and NCIS: LOS ANGELES (#10).

Additionally, CBS had the top five scripted programs: NCIS, TWO AND A HALF MEN SPECIAL, THE BIG BANG THEORY SPECIAL, THE MENTALIST and NCIS: LOS ANGELES. 

The Premiere of “Flashpoint” Wins its Time Period in Viewers and Key Demos. The premiere of FLASHPOINT won its Friday (9:00-10:00 PM) time period in viewers and key demographics. 
 
  For the week in viewers:  CBS (6.60m), ABC (7.15m), NBC (5.72m) and FOX (5.12m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS averaged a 2.0/06 in adults 25-54 and 1.4/04 in adults 18-49.  

For the week in households:  CBS (4.4/08), ABC (4.4/08), NBC (3.4/06) and FOX (3.2/06).

Monday, CBS was first in households (4.9/08) and viewers (7.72m); it was tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.8/07, with ABC).
 
 TWO AND A HALF MEN SPECIAL (R) (S) was first in households (6.1/10), viewers (9.85m), adults 25-54 (3.7/09) and adults 18-49 (2.7/07).  TWO AND A HALF MEN SPECIAL was the night’s #1 program in viewers. 

THE BIG BANG THEORY SPECIAL (R) (S) was first in households (5.8/10), viewers (9.47m), adults 25-54 (3.9/09) and adults 18-49 (3.0/08).  THE BIG BANG THEORY SPECIAL was the night’s #1 program in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. 
   
FLASHPOINT (P) was first in households (3.9/07), viewers (6.06m), adults 25-54 (1.9/06) and adults 18-49 (1.3/05).  FLASHPOINT was night’s #1 program in adults 25-54; it tied with MIAMI MEDICAL and “Dateline Friday” as the #1 program in adults 18-49.
 
MIAMI MEDICAL was first in households (4.1/08) and viewers (6.11m); it was tied for first in adults 25-54 (1.8/06 with NBC) and adults 18-49 (1.3/04, with NBC).
