CBS Radio and CBS Local Digital Media debuted Looped, a video experience for Radio.com.
Looped is designed as a “lean-back” viewing experience, playing music videos and content related to the channel’s genre.
Each of those channels will feature music videos and original content from CBS Radio stations and the CBS Website Radio.com.
“Music continues to be the most popular of all online videos, garnering billions of monthly impressions worldwide,” said Ezra Kucharz, President, CBS Local Digital Media. He calls music videos a proven and effective way to reach consumers with ads.
Users can watch Looped channels by streaming the feed live or by skipping around within the feed to access content on demand. After watching an on demand video, the channel will then automatically resume the live stream. Users can also buy the music they’ve heard by clicking to buy on iTunes.
