CBS dramas strong, but Idol rules the young

Fox’s "American Idol" continued to steamroller the competition in the key 18-49 demo in the latest week’s ratings. CBS, however, claimed the Households crown with its stable of scripted dramas and the made for TV movie "Jesse Stone: Thin Ice," staring Tom Selleck.


In HH it was CBS with a 6.9 rating and 11 share, followed by Fox at 6.5/10, ABC 4.7/8, NBC 3.9/6, Univision 1.9/3, MyNetworkTV and CW tied at 0.9/1, Telemundo 0.6/1, Ion 0.5/1, TeleFutura 0.4/1 and Azteca America 0.1/0.

In 18-49 Fox was followed by a CBS/ABC tie, NBC, Univision, a three-way tie by CW, MyNetworkTV and Telemundo, TeleFutura, Ion and Azteca America.
