CBS marches to victory despite Idol

0

“American Idol” alone was not enough to carry Fox to victory in the latest week. NCAA basketball and the Academy of Country Music Awards show combined with the usual dramas on CBS to give the Eye Network a ratings victory in both Households and the 18-49 demo. Wednesday’s Idol was, of course, the most-watched show, although “Dancing with the Stars” on ABC registered a higher HH rating.

In HH CBS had an average 7.1 rating and 12 share, with ABC at 5.8/10, Fox 4.8/8, NBC 3.4/6, Univision 2.1/3, Ion 0.8/1, CW and Telemundo 0.7/1, TeleFutura 0.4/1 and Azteca America and EstrellaTV 0.1/0.

In 18-49 CBS was at 2.9/8, Fox 2.7/8, ABC 2.5/7, Univision and NBC 1.5/4, CW 0.4/1, Telemundo 0.6/2, Ion and TeleFutura 0.3/1 and EstrellaTV and Azteca America 0.1/0.

Here are the week’s top 20 shows:
