CBS promotes Mitch Graham

Mitch Graham has been named Vice President, Alternative Programming, CBS Entertainment, it was announced by Chris Castallo, EVP/Alternative Programming, CBS Entertainment. Reporting to Castallo, Graham will oversee CBS’s current slate of reality franchises, including Survivor, The Amazing Race, Big Brother and Undercover Boss. He will also be involved in the development of new alternative programs, including reality, game shows and other non-scripted programming.


“As a publicist who has long and deep roots in all of our franchises, there wasn’t a more valuable candidate than Mitch,” said Castallo. “As our go-to guy for many years, his established relationships with our producers will be invaluable going forward.”

Graham transitions to the alternative programming department from his position as Director, Publicity, CBS Communications, a post he’s held since 2008.  Most recently, Graham spearheaded the Network publicity campaign on behalf of the summer hit Under the Dome.

He has been the publicist on the nine-time Emmy Award-winning The Amazing Race since its seventh season. He also helped launch Undercover Boss in 2010, which scored the biggest post-Super Bowl premiere for a new series since 1987.   He has been a publicist on Big Brother for the past four years. Graham joined CBS in 1999 as a publicity coordinator, rising to senior publicist, manager and director.
