Dibbs, an entertainment and events app, has signed five CBS Radio stations to air the Dibbs Download every Friday afternoon staring 3/25 – KCBS All News 106.9 FM and 740 AM, KLLC Alice 97.3 FM, KITS Live 105.3 FM and KFRC Oldies 1550 AM. The feature highlights the weekend’s best events and ticket give-aways, including Outside Lands, to Dibbs users.

With a simple slide or tap of a finger, the Dibbs app is delivering the most complete listing of sports, entertainment, theater and other events that can be searched by time and date, location, artist or team, and event type to a Bay Area and Reno/Tahoe user base approaching 20,000. The free app can be downloaded from the Apple App store for iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch devices and from the Android Market for all Android phones.

“We’re very excited to be working with CBS to promote Dibbs listings and the app on all five of their Bay Area radio stations,” said Dibbs CEO Scott Armstrong. “Over the next few weeks, we plan to distribute handbills and coasters at major venues and clubs around the Bay Area, as well as schedule the famous Dibbs girls for personal appearances at major events.”

Dibbs listings cover concerts by top artists at Shoreline Amphitheatre and Concord Pavilion, to sporting events at the world-champion Giants’ AT&T Park, the Golden State Warriors’ Oracle Arena and San Jose Sharks’ HP Pavilion, to wine country and Tahoe happenings, to world-class theatre at the Curran, Golden Gate and Orpheum, to intimate acts at Slim’s, the Fillmore and the Warfield, to Temple, Ruby Skye and other dance clubs.

Founded in 2008 by Armstrong and CTO Erin Looney, the company is backed by an experienced and active advisory board that locally includes BASS Ticket founders Jerry Seltzer and Harold Silen as well as other entertainment, marketing and technical experts.
