CBS Radio sites see large growth in December

According to statistics from OneStat, comparing December 2007 statistics to those of December 2008, CBS Radio’s websites experienced growth of nearly 30% in number of unique users.  Some of the sites that saw the largest growth included the company’s news stations, as well as a sampling of stations and formats from across the company’s portfolio.  In particular, KNX-AM in Los Angeles saw a 113% increase from year to year, while KRLD-AM in Dallas rose 133% and WBBM-AM in Chicago enhanced its website visitors by 104%.  Other station sites that saw triple-digit user increases when comparing December 2007 statistics to December 2008 include WZMX-FM in Hartford, WCBS-FM in New York and WPGC-FM in Washington, D.C. In similar news, December 2008 set a CBS RADIO record high for number of unique users, and grew 7% from November to December 2008.
