CBS Radio/Tampa names new VP/Programming


CBS RadioRob Morris is the new VP/Programming for the cluster, which includes Sports WHFS-A/FM, Rhythmic Top 40 WLLD-FM, Country WQYK, Classic Hits WRBQ and Spanish WYUU-FM. He starts 8/4. Morris was previously OM/PD for KMNB and KZJK Minneapolis.

He succeeds Brian Thomas, who joined Cumulus as Corporate PD and PD of Country WNSH-FM NYC.

“Rob is passionate about radio, competitive, a terrific strategic thinker and possesses outstanding leadership skills,” said CBS Radio/Tampa SVP/Market Manager Steve Carver.  “He is the perfect choice to take CBS Radio Tampa Bay to the next level.”

CBS Radio/Minneapolis SVP/Market Manager Mick Anselmo is currently looking for Morris’ replacement.
