After swinging at what many thought might be softballs on ABC’s The View, President Barack Obama may me moving to hardballs with CBS News veteran Harry Smith. The Friday 9/30/10 interview will air both Sunday 8/1/10 and Monday 8/2/10. And to continue with the baseball lingo, in all fairness to The View, we noted that many of their questions had some heat.
The interview with Smith is being conducted in a Michigan automotive plant, and CBS says that topics covered will be that recovering industry, recent developments in the immigration controversy and the situation in Afghanistan.
The interview will be shown on both “Sunday Morning” (9:00-10:30 AM, ET/PT) and on the Monday edition of The Early Show (7:00-9:00 AM, ET/PT).
