A new sitcom starring Rob Schneider is entering the CBS schedule at mid season. The eye Network is also bringing back the reality series “Undercover Boss.”

¡ROB! is Schneider’s new series, in which he plays a lifelong bachelor who just married into a tight-knit Mexican-American family. It will premiere Thursday, January 12th (8:30-9:00 pm ET/PT). ¡ROB! also stars Cheech Marin, Claudia Bassols, Diana Maria Riva, Eugenio Derbez and Lupe Ontiveros.

The new series temporarily displaces “Rules of Engagement,” which CBS says will return to its Thursday (8:30-9:00 pm ET/PT) time period later this season.

Two-time Emmy Award-nominated Undercover Boss returns with its third season premiere on Sunday, January 15th (8:00-9:00 pm ET/PT). Each week, the reality series follows a different executive as they leave the comfort of their corner office for an undercover mission to examine the inner workings of their companies.

The eight-time Emmy Award-winning “The Amazing Race” will also return at mid-season with a premiere that will be announced at a later date, CBS stated.

RBR-TVBR observation: The CBS schedule is so solid right now that it is difficult to even wedge a mid-season show into the line-up. No doubt the other network bosses wish they had the problem that Les Moonves faces.
