CBS, 'Survivor: South Pacific' solid win in demos

“Survivor” and “CSI” Place First in Their Time Periods in Viewers and Key Demos. “Criminal Minds” Wins in Viewers


CBS won all three hours in viewers and also won its first Wednesday of the season in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Dec. 7.

SURVIVOR: SOUTH PACIFIC was first in households (6.9/11), viewers (11.54m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.3/09, with FOX).  Compared to last week, SURVIVOR was up +5% in households (from 6.6/10), +10% in adults 25-54 (from 4.2/11), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.1/09) and added +490,000 viewers (from 11.05m, +4%). 

CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (7.6/12), viewers (12.26m), second in adults 25-54 (4.3/10, -0.1 behind ABC) and adults 18-49 (3.4/08).  

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (6.9/11), viewers (11.07m), adults 25-54 (3.5/08) and adults 18-49 (2.5/07).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on Nov. 16), CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was up +1% in households (from 6.8/11), +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.4/08) and added +470,000 viewers (from 10.60m, +4%). 

For the night, CBS was first in households (7.1/11), viewers (11.62m), adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and adults 18-49 (3.1/08).
