CBS Tuesday season finales of 'NCIS' winner

“NCIS,” “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “The Good Wife” All Post Week-to-Week Increases in Viewers and Key Demographics.


“NCIS” Tops “Glee” in Adults 18-49.

“The Good Wife” Posts Its Best Ratings in Viewers and Demos since October.

The season finales of NCIS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES and THE GOOD WIFE all posted week-to-week increases in viewers and key demographics, leading CBS to a Tuesday win in viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for May 17.

The eighth season finale of NCIS was first in households (11.2/18), viewers (18.09m), adults 25-54 (5.2/11) and adults 18-49 (3.8/11, +0.3 ahead of “Glee”). 

Compared to last week, NCIS was up +3% in households (from 10.9/18), +6% in adults 25-54 (from 4.9/13), +9% in adults 18-49 (from 3.5/11) and added +470,000 viewers (from 17.62m, +3%)

The second season finale of NCIS: LOS ANGELES was second in households (9.7/14), viewers (15.37m), adults 25-54 (4.4/10) and adults 18-49 (3.2/08).  Compared to last week, NCIS: LOS ANGELES was up +4% in households (from 9.3/14), +10% in adults 25-54 (from 4.0/09), +14% in adults 18-49 (from 2.8/07) and added +630,000 viewers (from 14.74m, +4%)

THE GOOD WIFE’s season two finale was first in households (8.1/13) and viewers (12.44m), and second in adults 25-54 (3.5/08) and adults 18-49 (2.5/06).

Compared to last week, THE GOOD WIFE was up +5% in households (from 7.7/12), +13% in adults 25-54 (from 3.1/07), +25% in adults 18-49 (from 2.0/05) and added +710,000 viewers (from 11.73m, +6%). 

THE GOOD WIFE posted its best households and viewer deliveries since Oct. 26, 2010, and its best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 performances since Oct. 19, 2010. 

For the night, CBS was first in households (9.7/15), viewers (15.30m) and adults 25-54 (4.4/10); it was second in adults 18-49 (3.2/08).
