CBS wins Tuesday w/ 'Victoria's Secret Fashion Show'

The Annual Visit of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” Is Up in Viewers, Children and Teens. “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” Hits the Runway with Its Largest Audience Since 2003. A Rebroadcast of “NCIS” Is the Night’s #1 Program in Viewers.


CBS Wins Tuesday in Viewers and Key Demographics.

On a night with holiday themed specials, RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER and THE VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW delivered ratings cheer, placing first in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Tuesday, Nov. 30.

RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER (R) (S) was first in viewers (12.03m), children 2-11 (5.8/17), tied for first in adults 25-54 (4.7/12, with FOX), second in adults 18-49 (3.8/11), teens (1.9/06).  Compared to last year’s special (on Wednesday, December 2nd), RUDOLPH was up +4% in adults 25-54 (from 4.5/12), +2% in children 2-11 (from 5.7/17), +12% in teens (from 1.7/06), even in adults 18-49 and added +1.39m viewers (from 10.64m, +13%). 

THE VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW (S) was first in households (5.6/10), viewers (9.02m), adults 18-49 (3.4/09) and second in adults 25-54 (3.2/08).  Compared to last year’s special (on the same night last year), CBS was up +8% in households (from 5.2/09), +14% in adults 25-54 (from 2.8/07), +17% in adults 18-49 (from 2.9/08) and added +1.00m viewers (from 8.02m, +13%).  This is VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW’s best delivery in households since 2005, in viewers since 2003 and in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since 2008.

At 9:00 PM, a rebroadcast of NCIS (R) (S) was first in households (9.1/14), viewers (15.06m), adults 25-54 (4.3/10) and adults 18-49 (3.0/08) and was the night’s number one program in viewers. 

On Tuesday, CBS was first in households (7.0/11), viewers (12.04m), adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and adults 18-49 (3.4/09).
