CBS won Monday night w/ lead of 'How I Met Your Mother'

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT, TWO AND A HALF MEN and MIKE & MOLLY all posted season-best audience deliveries, leading CBS to a Monday win in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Jan. 17.


HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was first in households (6.3/10), viewers (10.51m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11), adults 18-49 (3.9/10) and adults 18-34 (3.1/09).  HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER posted its best viewer delivery since March 2, 2009. 

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT was second in households (6.0/09), viewers (9.85m), adults 25-54 (4.3/10) and adults 18-49 (3.2/08).  RULES OF ENGAGEMENT posted its best deliveries in both households and viewers since March 8, 2010. 

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (9.4/14), viewers (15.55m), adults 25-54 (6.2/14) and adults 18-49 (4.6/11).  TWO AND A HALF MEN posted its best viewer performance since March 8, 2010. 

MIKE & MOLLY was first in households (7.9/12), viewers (13.03m), adults 25-54 (5.1/11) and adults 18-49 (3.8/09).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on Jan. 3, 2011), MIKE & MOLLY was up +5% in households (from 7.5/11), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 4.9/11), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.7/09) and added +640,000 viewers (from 12.39m, +5%).  MIKE & MOLLY posted series’ highs in viewers.

HAWAII FIVE-0 (6.7/11, 10.62m) was first in adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and adults 18-49 (2.9/08). 

For the night, CBS was first in households (7.2/11), viewers (11.70m), adults 25-54 (4.7/11) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09).
