CBS’s broadcast of the BOSTON POPS FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR won its time period in viewers and posted year-to-year gains in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Monday, July 4.
BOSTON POPS FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR (S) was first in households (4.0/08) and viewers (6.58m); it was second in adults 25-54 (1.6/05) and adults 18-49 (1.1/04). Compared to last year’s special (on Sunday, July 4), CBS was up +7% in adults 25-54 (from 1.5/06) and +22% in adults 18-49 (from 0.9/04).
