“NCIS: Los Angeles” Posts Significant Increases Over Last First-Run Episode

Rebroadcast of “The Good Wife” Wins Time Period

NCIS delivered 20.15 million viewers opposite “American Idol,” according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Tuesday, Jan. 26.

At 8:00 PM, NCIS was second in households (12.2/19), viewers (20.15m), adults 25-54 (5.7/14) and adults 18-49 (4.1/11).  This is NCIS’s closest competitive position ever with “American Idol” (24.19m) in viewers. 

 At 9:00 PM, NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in households (10.5/16), viewers (17.16m) and adults 25-54 (5.1/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.8/10).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on Jan. 12, 2010), NCIS: LOS ANGELES was up +8% in households (from 9.7/15), +17% in adults 25-54 (from 4.3/09), +27% in adults 18-49 (from 3.0/07) and added +1.56m viewers (from 15.60m, +10%). 

At 10:00 PM, a rebroadcast of THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (6.9/12), viewers (10.33m), adults 25-54 (3.0/08) and adults 18-49 (2.1/06).
