CC Radio, Britney Spears partner in Facebook contest


Highlighting Clear Channel’s terrestrial, digital and mobile media reach, Clear Channel Radio has signed Britney Spears to launch a national contest that will give one lucky fan the chance to meet the icon on the set of a video shoot for her new album Femme Fatale, in stores 3/29. The contest uses Facebook instead of traditional telephone request lines and allows listeners to enter the contest via the Facebook Pages for 95 CC stations across the country as well as through the Facebook Page for iHeartRadio. It runs 3/11-3/25.

All contest entrants will receive exclusive access to a megamix of tracks from Femme Fatale produced plus three photos from Britney’s album cover shoot.

The effort will include 750 digital radio stations from 150 cities on iHeartRadio and comes on the heels of a similar partnership between Clear Channel and Lady Gaga, which helped propel the artist’s new single Born This Way to number one iTunes song in less than three hours.
