Clear Channel Radio has partnered with The Weinstein Company to provide music fans across the country with a first look at the highly anticipated John Lennon biopic “Nowhere Boy” on its iheart radio mobile app.
For the first time since it launched on-demand video content on its mobile application late last year, iheartradio will present filmed content in conjunction with the film’s premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. “Nowhere Boy” tells the story of the early life of John Lennon, spanning a journey that begins with him seeking refuge in music and leads to his eventual founding of The Beatles.
“Over the past year, we’ve drastically expanded the depth of programming on i heartradio,” said Evan Harrison, executive vice president of Clear Channel Radio and president of the company’s digital unit. “Partnering with The Weinstein Company represents the next milestone in delivering top-flight entertainment.”
