Charlie Sheen entering rehab

“Two and a Half Men” will be down a man for a while. Co-star Charlie Sheen is taking time off from the series to go into a rehabilitation facility as what his publicist is calling “a preventative measure.”

Sheen is due in an Aspen, CO court March 15th to face a felony charge and two misdemeanors relating to a domestic dispute at Christmas time.

CBS is standing by the actor.

“CBS, Warner Bros. Television and Chuck Lorre support Charlie Sheen in his decision today to begin voluntary in-patient care at a treatment center. We wish him nothing but the best as he deals with this personal matter. Production on ‘Two and a Half Men’ will be temporarily suspended,” said a joint statement from Nina Tassler, President, CBS Entertainment; Peter Roth, President, Warner Bros. Television; and Chuck Lorre, Creator/Executive Producer of “Two and a Half Men.”
