Sun Broadcast Group announced that network radio sales veteran Cheryl Winer has joined the company to serve as National Account Manager. Winer will work from the Sun Broadcast New York City office and will assist in servicing the company’s fast growing roster of agency and client partners.

Winer has over 20 years experience in the radio industry excelling in c-suite, high-level client and advertising agency sales. She began her career in national and local spot radio before moving into network radio sales, where she served in various capacities including National Account Manager, VP and SVP. Joining Premiere Radio Networks when it was formed, she pioneered a number of important strategic accounts for the company contributing significantly to the bottom line for 14 years. Her creative leanings and sales acumen led to the signing, by Premier, of Jim Cramer’s Real Money which was the catalyst for CNBC’s highly successful “Mad Money”.
