China’s central bank shocked Wall Street by announcing an increase in interest rates. And then there were worries about a battle between Bank of America and some hedge funds over mortgage securities. So, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 165 points, or 1.5%, to 10,979. Broadcasting stocks were not spared.
The RBR Radio Index was down 7.770, or 2.7%, to 276.970.
The TVBR Television Index was down 3.478, or 1.7%, to 199.441.
