Beasley’s Wired 96.5 WRDW-FM Philadelphia announced Morning Host Chio has turned in his resignation. Chio is a member of the “Chio, Shila and Tingle in the Morning Show,” which airs from 6:00 – 10:00 a.m. each weekday morning. Shila and Tingle will remain on the Wired 96.5 morning show.
Said Vice President and General Manager Natalie Conner: “We appreciate the contributions Chio has made to Wired 96.5, our listeners and to the Philadelphia community while a member of the Wired 96.5 on-air staff, and we all wish him the very best in the next phase of his successful career.”
Chio made his fame at Beasley’s Power 96.5 in Miami.
I am so upset! I have followed Chio for years! I listen to Chio every Monday through Friday while driving my kids to school and come home and finish listening till 10:00 am it was a great part of my day. Now when I turn on 96.5 in the mornning, it’s not the same at all:(…It’s music only and we do not even hear Shiloh and Tingle, war of the roses or Clorisa Jenkins 🙁 . I agree! I miss my morning radio show. It gave me great kicks on the way to work every morning. Where in the world is Chio??? This article says Shila is still there to but I haven’t heard her either.
