Comcast Hometown Network (CHN), Comcast’s regional cable network covering Northern and Central California, announced Monday that it will televise 23 high school football games this season. In its sixth year of covering prep football, CHN’s games will continue to appear under the banner of “Xfinity High School Sports,” and will be available on Channel 104 to Comcast digital cable customers. Most telecasts will also be streamed live at http://www.chnlivestreaming.tv.
CHN’s schedule kicks off on Friday, August 28 at 7:30 p.m. with live coverage of defending Division I state champion Folsom High School hosting Clayton Valley High School.
“This year, Comcast Hometown Network will be covering more games than ever before; offering prep football fans a greater experience,” said Jeff Giles, General Manager of Comcast Hometown Network. “With 23 games on this year’s schedule, CHN viewers will get all the action, comprehensive coverage of popular matchups and unique sideline interviews of their local teams they can’t get anywhere else.”
