‘Chuck’, ‘Trauma’ just keeping pace for NBC

Seems clock may be ticking to a stop for ‘Trauma’  as ‘Law & Order’ still solid and best it will see it 21st season.


At 8 p.m. ET, “Chuck” averaged a 1.9 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 5.4 million viewers in a time slot that included competition from ABC’s premiere of “Dancing With the Stars,” CBS’s comedies and Fox’s “House” encore.  From its first half-hour to its second, “Chuck” increased its adult 18-49 rating by 6 percent (to a 1.9 from a 1.8), its adult 18-34 rating by 6 percent (1.7 vs. 1.6) and its men 18-34 rating by 18 percent (2.0 vs. 1.7).

At 9 p.m. ET, “Trauma” averaged a 1.5/4 in 18-49 and 4.3 million viewers overall in a time period that included competition from ABC’s premiere of “Dancing With the Stars,” CBS’s “Two and a Half Men” and “Big Bang Theory” and Fox’s “24.”  From its first half-hour to its second, “Trauma” increased its adult 18-49 rating by 7 percent (to a 1.5 from a 1.1) and its women 18-49 rating by 13 percent (1.7 vs. 1.5).

At 10 p.m. ET, “Law & Order” averaged a 1.8/5 in 18-49 and 5.9 million viewers overall.   From its first half-hour to its second, “Law & Order” increased its 18-49 rating by 12 percent (to a 1.9 from a 1.7) and its overall viewership by 9 percent (6.2 million vs. 5.7 million), while dramas on ABC and CBS were showing declines in both categories.  “Law & Order” built on its lead-in by 20 percent in 18-49 and 37 percent in total viewers while dramas on ABC and CBS in the time period were showing declines versus lead-in in both categories.
