The transaction sending KAKS-FM in the Fayetteville AR market is officially in the books. The seller was Davidson Media, headed by Felix Perez, and the buyer was Carroll County Broadcasting, headed by Jay and Teresa Bunyard.
According to broker Bill Whitley of Media Services Group, the full price will be $1.11M.
The Bunyards already own KUOA-AM in Fayetteville, and have another FM in the area, KHTS-FM Berryville AR which is not considered to be part of the Fayetteville market but nevertheless will share some contour coverage with KAKS-FM.
KAKS-FM is licensed to Huntsville AR.
